As the premiership campaign ends its heartbreak for Newcastle and Middlesboro, but Fulham secured European football for the second time in their history by securing 7th spot just ahead of Harry Redknapps Tottenham Hotspur.
This weekend saw the end of the local league and lets all say well done to Nathan's Under 10's who finished the season undefeated and wrapped up the title with a convincing 9-2 home win, they have scored more goals than anyone else in the league and conceded the least amount so a great performance all round.
The Under 8's also finished with a good home win beating Pena Comparders 4-2 which will see them end the season in a respectable 3rd place and become the second highest scorers in the league.
Its been a great season for both the squads in the local league, and lets give a special mention to the Under 12's who take a narrow away lead into the home leg of their cup match, good luck to Mark and the team for the return fixture this week.
Our next action for the younger teams is the much anticipated Marbella tournament which will see us taking on some of the strongest teams in the area at UD Marbella's local stadium, it should be a great day out and a chance for us to really see how much progress we have made this season.

We will also be very shortly releasing details of our end of season awards presentations, a fun day out at the aqua park, and player pre registration for next season so lots to look forward to.

During the Summer Holidays AFA Marbella the Costa Del Sol's leading International Football Academy will be running a football camp for boys and girls aged 5 - 14.
Taking place the start of the school holidays these FOOTBALL CAMPS AND SATURDAY SOCCER CLUBS are open to boys and girls of all ages and abilities, taking place at our ground opposite La Canada Shopping Centre in Marbella the Easter Football Camp will be organised and run by AFA Marbella's experienced, qualified and enthusiastic management and coaching staff.
Players attending will take part in football based fitness work, technical based exercises and drills, along with small sided games and mini tournaments, this year the players will also take part in penalty shoot outs, the cross bar challenge, beat the keeper exercises and will also be visiting our daily skills school to learn a new trick or flick.
There will be daily prizes and competitions across all age groups and all players will be assed individually. Those players attending for a whole week will receive an AFA Marbella Coaching Certificate and a medal, the camps will run from 10am - 2pm each day and refreshments and a healthy snack will be provided.
Prices for the Summer Football Camp's will be 20 euros per day and a discount will be offered to players who book up and attend a full week in total, or for players who are bringing their brothers and sisters along. Our Saturday Soccer Club will run from 10-12am on Saturday Mornings and will cost just 10 euros for the session.
