Wednesday: AFA Marbella 5 - 2 Pena Compadres Under 8s were in action twice this week with two tough matches to test the squad.
Wednesday saw the rescheduled match against Pena Compadres, and saw new keeper Sonny make his debut, which allowed Jasper to play in defence which seems to be his natural position.
A good performance turned a little shaky in the second half, but AFA were worthy winners and deserved the 5-2 scoreline at the end.
Thursday: Vazquez 4 vs 5 AFA A nail-biting finish made the result a tight one, but in truth this was one of the best AFA performances of the season and as much as the game was end to end, the result could easily have been a heavy win for AFA who were fantastic on the day, and fully deserved the applause from both sets of spectators.
Organised and creative, AFA had to come from a goal behind but strong performances all over the pitch, with plenty of passing and passion for the game made it a match to remember.
Jasper and Hayden were fabulous in defence and proved very hard to beat. Henry was everywhere, Jack found the net twice and worked hard all match and Tylin, Yonathon, Archie, Jeremy, Sonny and Luis all played their part in the victory.
