U16 Trialists off to UK for a week
This seasons selected trialists are off to the UK to spend the week with both Fulham and Stevenage Boro FC. Clubs at both ends of the football spectrum in the UK.

The chosen ones this time round are:

Charlie Ward, Sam Gilroy, Zach Steinburg, Philip Edwards, Lewis Mains
Well done and good luck from everyone at AFA.

4 games to go!

The under 12's and U16s have just 4 games to go until the end of the season. All other teams have now completed their league campaigns. Announcements for the end of season presentation will be given out soon. Also news of a special soccer school running throughout the summer is just around the corner. watch this space!

Last week AFA Marbella had visitors Dawlish United visit. Dawlish are an FA Charter Club and brought a strong team to play against us and Pablo Picasso.
Dawlish proved to strong against our Under 14 C team, although man of the match Dennis kept the score down, Dawlish ran our 7-4 winners. Later in the week, Dawlish beat Pablo Picasso 3-2, but were well beaten by AFA on Friday night by some great football and an emphatic 4-0 victory.

Well done to all the players who took part. We hope you enjoyed the facilities at the MPF which were magnificent despite the rain. It was great to see so many parents along to support as well. Special thanks to John Challinor and his team at Dawlish. your players were a credit to your club and we sincerely hope you enjoyed your stay. lets hope next time you come back the sun is shining. We will most definately be joining up with Dawlish later this year for a return visit to Somerset in the UK.
